Following her emergence as the 2020 winner of the prestigious Queen of Gold Africa, Queen Rosemary took her first step of giving back to society as she launched her first pet project just a week after emerging the Queen. She was able to mingle and share items including packed food, drinks, items of clothing, shoes, etc with the less privileged on the streets of mile 1. She was able to put smiles on the faces of these poor and hopeless individuals.
The highlight of the event was when the Queen with tears hugged these dirty-looking and sticking individuals with love, compassion, and smiles all over her face.
In her word, stating why she chose this project, she said “I always take this route to buy things from mile 1 market and have always seen these individuals begging and asking for arms. I do, at intervals, give arms to them, but have always looked forward to a platform that can enable me to do even better for them. I have to, with the aid of my CEO and brand package this project just to let them know there’s still hope for them even in an environment of a seemingly hopeless situation. I’m so grateful to God that this day and dream finally came to pass and I say thank you to my brand and the entire QOGA team for this platform and their support.”
The pet project which was held at mile 1 area of Port Harcourt in the southern part of Nigeria had the presence of the QOGA team and some Queens in attendance as well to support the Queens first project. Attending the project was:
CEO, QOGA- Comrade Prince Ustry
The QOGA costumier- Barr. Chris Kissy
