QUEEN OF GOLD AFRICA, 2020 EDITION

Amidst the challenges of the coronavirus pandemic, the world faced in the year 2020, the Queen of Gold Africa Beauty Pageant still held in the city of Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria, West Africa. The event whose camp opened on Sunday the 22nd day of Novemebr had 26 selected finalists out over 90 registered candidates arrived camp full of expectations and suspense.

The first activity was the orientation which was done by the CEO himself. The camp which lasted for 7ays into the grand finale was so much educative and fun as the candidates learnt lots of new skills through their skill acquisition program which includes: hair styling, nail fixing, baking, wig making, fashion designing, etc.

Some of the highlights of the camping includes the pool party and club tours. The grand finale took place on the 29th day of November at the Prestigeous Ice Entertainment Centre, world bank in Owerri Imo State with contestants colourfully displaying elegance and glamour starting from the unity dance which saw them in glowing carnival costumes, to the bikini session then amazing dinner gowns.

The highlight of the event was the crowning of the winners as Miss Rosemary Johnson from Isiala Ngwa emerged as the overall winner to become the Queen of Gold Africa 2020 and waked awy with the navy blue Hyundia imp car, $1000, all expenses paid ticket to represent Nigeria in USA at the next edition of Miss Summit International.

Miss Scholarstica Okoro who emerged as QOGA 2020 Nigeria Queen

Miss Mel Sa who emerged as her country QOGA 2020 Togo Queen

Miss Shulammite Akoma who emerged as QOGA 2020 Top Model

Miss Mary Edet who emerged as QOGA 2020 Miss Photogenic

Miss Onyinyechi Charles who emerged as QOGA 2020 Miss Creativity

and a host of others.
